Hello nairalanders, i am a student of ekiti state university and i just entered my third year.i am currently on a 3.44 CGPA although im a very hardworking guy but i dont know what im going to do again cos i had a 3.71 in my first year

You are at 3.44, you can make over 4.0+ if you are as serious as you claim.

Also note that, grades are not everything. If you have spare time, learn something else on the side like programming or something not tedious which can be self taught. #js

at the end of my third year my cgpa was 3.2 something. But with prayers and intense hardwork i nailed 4.55 and 4.45 in both semesters of my fourth year (final year) and i got my 2.1 around 3.5 something sha. Tho the units in both semesters were much sha. But still Anything is possible

how about a person with cgpa 2.33 only left with project score to be added what is the probability of the person making a second class lower

yea its very much possible.... your 3.71 cgpa in your first year is good you entered your 3rd year with a 3.44 that means this your 200l cgpa. you should maintain a cgpa of 4.0 and above in your third and fourth year. dont loose hope set a target for yourself...

i myself had a poor performance in 1st year it continued with a slight improvement in 2nd year because i was poor in MCQs.. my cgpa was a 3.48, in my third year i did better with a cgpa of 4.06 my final year was the better with a 4.38.. i have my 2.1 i thank God with determination and God anything is possible.

Would you believe if I said that I had never made a CGPA of 4. and above and yet I graduated with a 2.1. on the dot. my highest gp was 3.91 and that was in 100 level. Though it wasn't a small struggle. Nearly lost hope in my final year. When I look back now, I just smile.

Let me share my own testimony

First Year:
1st Semester GP=3.21
2nd Semester GP=3.71
CGPA=3.48

Second Year:
1st Semester GP =3.45
CGPA =3.47
2nd Semester GP = 4.15
CGPA =3.64

Third Year:
1st Semester GP=4.30
CGPA=3.77
2nd Semester GP= 4.19
CGPA= 3.83

Now in my final year sociology department. If you're hardworking and determined, you'll excel. Take all courses seriously especially the 3 units

brother don't lose hope. work hard, stay strong and avoid distractions. mingle with people of like goals. before I got admitted into the university I was brainwashed to believe it's really difficult to build cgpa but I encountered something else in ground. don't lose faith TFBWY

I was at 3.42 by this time a couple of years ago but i came through. Just work hard and you will be fine....trust me

You need A in your project. If its a five year course, you need back to back A in your IT and project

Its nothing much, all you need is hardworking prayer. My 100l gp 2.5 and 3.1 respectively. Now just finish my 200l, first semester gp is 4.2 current cgpa is 3.22 and i believe this last semester gp is going to be 4.5 and above.

Small challenge..be mentally tough
During my undergraduate days my
Yr 1 cgpa - 2.7
Yr 2 - 3.15
Yr 3- 3.48
Finals - 3.63

Don't relent, u can make close to 4.0 sef, in my days I dropped to 3.4 after 300L n glory be 2 God I still made it.. You still gat like 4 semesters..

Let your mindset be **SECOND CLASS UPPER OR NOTHING** and you will make it

The imperfections in classifying 2:1 are quite disgusting. How can 4.49 cgpa be pegged in the same class as 3.50 cgpa.
With my 4.22 cgpa, I regret not adding up when matter most, though my MSc. restored the lost glory after banging 4.79 cgpa with annoyance from the last mistake.
