The wife of the Zimbabwean dictator, Grace Mugabe has fled the country for Namibia following the military take over in the country. Zimbabwean media has claimed that Robert Mugabe is under house arrest in Harare, while some claims he is dead after the Zimbabwean military hijacked power last night. The Military in a statement read on live Tv by Major General Gen Sibusiso Moyo said that Mr. Mugabe and his family are “safe and sound and their security is guaranteed”. Confirming Grace Mugabe’s escape, an MP from the main opposition party, Movement for Democratic Change, Eddie Cross claimed that the First Lady was now in Namibia. Similarly, a representative for the ruling Zanu-PF party also affirmed that the first lady is no longer in Zimbabwe.
