Hello brethren, it appears that the PNP has not been picking some tech NOC in their draws- such as 2171 (Information systems analysts and consultants)- my current NOC

Im thinking of changing from 2171 to 0213 (Computer and information systems managers)

Now my concern is 0213 doesn't really fit my current profile, however its tweekable because i have experience there.

How will this affect my chances?

Please i need answers o
noc 0 is managerial

That’s my concern because I haven’t held that role in that capacity before.

Hope this won’t affect my chances

Hi Everyone,

Please i need clarifications on the following questions for SINP.

- I have a Bsc in Electrical Engineering. However, my job description for over 8 years is highly related to "electrical technician" instead of "electrical engineer". Can i claim the NOC for a technician instead of engineer as i see the technician are often called.
- What documents do i need to provide as proof of employment? (especially a government document)
- i have 2 years work experiences at the early years of my career in construction before switching to power, can i claim these years work experience even if they are not related to "the technician" NOC?
- Must the work experience you claim be related to the NOC or your degree?

I apologise if my kind of question may have been answered before on the thread, however, your clarifications would be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

Good morning guys, please I need you guys contribution on this: I’m an immigrant in the uk ( spousa visa ). My visa is valid for 2 years. But I want to relocate to Canada. I saw the Atlantic immigration pilot program. Can I apply for that from UK and go to Canada to work? Or is there any other way I can leave uk for Canada without hassle of going back to Nigeria. I’d appreciate information that can help me. Thanks y’all.

I think you are good to go, an electrical engineer can work as electrical technician. The work experience will be related to both the NOC and the degree. Electrical engineering is related to electrical technician.

TEECANN:
PNPs THAT DO NOT REQUIRE JOB OFFER AS A CONDITION FOR APPLICATION

Find below an overview and summary of application costs for PNPs that DO NOT require a job offer. However most of them have target occupation lists but generally in the NOC 0, A or B categories similar to the Federal requirement

- SK $300 (saskatchewan has an In-Demand Occupation list and Provincial Express Entry subcategory route)
- NB $250 (New Brunswick is currently targeting occupations in IT AND applicants must show connections to NB by attending an information session or studied in NB)
- PE $300 (Prince Edward Island has no specific target occupation list)
- MB $500 (Manitoba Skilled Workers Overseas have no specific target occupation list BUT applicants must show social ties - have family, friend or studied in Manitoba or attended an information session)
- ON $1500 (Ontario EE Human Capital Priority Stream has no target occupation list but applicant must have CRS of 400 or more to be invited)
-NS No application fees (Nova Scotia Demand EE Stream- Category 2 has a target occupation list)

Also be aware that some of the various programs are selective about certain ECA assessments that they accept. In addition to sending your ECA to IRCC you will also be required to inform your assessing body to send a copy of your assessment directly to the pnp program once you receive their ITA/NOI otherwise this may delay your application for provincial nomination

- SK/PE/MB/ON/NS accept all IRCC designated ECAs (CES,ICAS,WES,IQAS,ICES,MCC,PEBC)
- NB accepts only CES, ICAS, WES, MCC and PEBC

The current processing time for PNPs on the CIC website is stated as 6 months (same as Federal Skilled Workers [FSW] Program). However there's no hard and fast rule for how long it takes to receive a provincial nomination once you submit your Expression of Interest - obviously this would vary from one province to another.

Note that the various programs have different PoF amount requirements some are even lower than CIC's but applicants would ultimately be required to show funds that comply with the Federal scheme when submitting to CIC for their PPRs.

Generally, PNPs have a residency requirement that the applicant intends to live and work in that particular province. However it's still being argued that the 2 years residency is not mandatory. Take New Brunswick (NB) for example which requires applicants to sign form NBNP006 'Declaration of Commitment to New Brunswick' but doesn't clearly specify how long you are required to live in NB after showing yourself to the NBNP program officer within 30 days of your arrival in Canada.

Section 6(2) of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms states that a Canadian Permanent Resident can move anywhere within the country.

Section 6(2)
Every citizen of Canada and every person who has the status of a permanent resident of Canada has the right:
a) to move to and take up residence in any province; and
b) to pursue the gaining of a livelihood in any province.

It will all end in praise IJN

Please assist me here good people,
What is the next step if you get a negative eligibility test result?
Will an express entry profile number still be generated if you complete the profile?
I have looked at PNP and also found getting the 60points for some provinces eligibility too is also an issue.
What else can be done to go around these hurdles?

Hello good people,

Please can someone use a sponsor for the SINP
Proof of fund? Or the fund must be in applicant's account.

Also my spouse has an ECA AND IELTS CLB 6, will these 2 give us more points for the PNP?
