PNP is really for folks who have EXHAUSTED ALL OPTIONS TO IMPROVE THEIR SCORE not for people who can't be bothered to do IELTS and ECA.

We shouldn’t even be hearing about folks less than 40 clogging up the PNP wheel for other people who don’t have options. And if you can get 425 with spouse IELTS and ECA, you’re probably less than that as the highest a 40 year old Master’s holder can get with all spousal points is 429 (without siblings in Canada). So @bamituni please don’t block road for people who genuinely are unable to get direct ITA biko, thank you smiley

Good evening all,

Please I have two questions:

1. Is it true that SINP does not require WES evaluation for the application process?

2. Must my NOC fall within their Occupation in Demand before I can apply even if I score more than the minimum required score?

Thanks for your responses

Hello good people, my company doesn't indicate job duties, date of employment and job title on reference letter. They only state you are a staff, salary and purpose of the letter. My question is should i ignore requesting reference from my HR or i should just go straight and write it in CIC format and notarized it. Please assist a brother.

You can go with the option of notarizing and still attached the letter from your HR. Both will suffice. Best of luck.

@ TEECANN, me thinks you need to visit this thread more often, else, it will soon die a natural death. Folks gunning for PNP are much more than EE/FS but this thread isn't moving at all.

mamacajah:
it is not only TEECANN that will make the thread move but others are as well. Even the whatsapp group is slowing down. it is well.

In other news, the Alberta EE stream coming up in January looks promising for people with low scores in the pool. Sketchy information from an information session on the stream held recently in Calgary provided this information. So, to prevent the kind of rush that happened on saturday for theNova Scotia, let everyone who is eligible get into the EE pool even if the CRS score is low. Also Mnitoba is coming up on 18th January. EOIs for that stream is still on-going now...

I foresee a lot of PNPs opening in Q1-Q2..so we should start preparing our documentas, properly saved and ready for uploading once the various PNP portals are open. grin

Thanks @wholesomegrace and @mamacajah for your concerns.

I have also noticed the slow movement of the PNP thread and as much as I'd say we all need to pitch in, I will also say here what my observations are concerning the peculiarities of the PNP hustle which in turn is affecting the thread.

1. PNP is a seasonal immigration window...FSW is perennial ie all year round (ITA draws are conducted at least twice every month of the year, hence that space will always be active year round )

2. A lot of folks trying to go the way of PNP are married busy managers who are more often than not, not regular NL crawlers like me grin...you'd probably see them pop in once in a while when they need info or if they re stuck with their PNP applications. Unlike FSW thread populated by online savvy folks who are relatively younger and at the beginning parts of their work lives. They most likely have the wherewithal to be virtually on their thread perpetually. grin (just my generalisation- don't take it too seriously)

You will see how this space will be a beehive of activities next year if we witness multiple provincial application openings. It's just the nature of PNP...it could be upsetting sometimes especially when a newbie needs info on Ontario and I can only give limited intervention because I'm not a subject matter expert on Ontario. People that can help either don't have the time to come around here to advice or they have gotten their nominations and moved on to post-ITA hustles.

That's why I always encourage people to read up...if no one is available to help, thank God for the internet (best thing to happen for us in Africa in the 21st century. We would have been in the deepest darkness of happenings in the world), read and soak up to your advantage.

Hence, we need to do all possible to keep the thread alive. I for one as an individual cannot do it all alone. I'm not versed in all the Provincial programs available. I know stuffs about Saskatchewan program because I ve taken time to research it inside out and let's task our senior members here to adopt a province from the other popular provincial programs so we can have subject matter experts for each of the popular PNP such as Manitoba, Ontario, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

With this, we'll know who to direct enquiries to concerning any provincial matters and folks won't to running to Express Entry FSW thread disturbing them with PNP questions which most of them in there are not even conversant with.

Thanks for your concerns once again.

It will all end in praise IJN!

Of course.
Its only OINP that requires 400pts. others uses 60-67 pts on their own brand and scales.

Not that bro.
I am speaking about Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Program. They wrote there that the minimum scores is 60pts. But, I want to know if they ALWAYS consider people from 60 and above or if they upscale the scores due to population of applicants.

Thanks.

60 points on the dot will be adequate for your eligibility criteria score for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

This is a fixed score cutoff and does not get affected by the number of applicants applying or whatever. It is a fixed benchmark. Score 60 and above and you become eligible to apply.

1. Yes. SINP doesn't require your WES, they only require your degree certificate and transcript. However I ve heard it informally that Diploma holders (eg HNDs) attach their WES ECA in addition to their certificates and transcripts. (However, if they need it, they will ask you for it at the ADR [additional documents required] stage of your application processing- so you may want to get it ready)

2. Yes. Generally for both their Express Entry (EE) stream and Occupation-in-Demand (OID) stream, your NOC must be in their list of occupation published about the time of application opening.

CASUAL PROCEDURE TO FILL FORMS AND UPLOAD SAME TO THE SASKATCHEWAN IMMIGRANT NOMINEE PROGRAM [SINP]

Fore caveat!!: Kindly note that the below are my casual opinion on how to go about the filling and uploading process, this in no way represents the position of SINP regarding same. You are strongly advised to visit the SINP page on www.saskatchewan.ca for full and proper guidance and directions.

1. Just go to www.saskatchewan.ca and download the forms and especially the checklist (it is there with the provincial and federal forms)

2. Fill the forms on your computer one by one (using the checklist to know the forms that is in line with your status [ie are you single or married])

3. Print out the completed forms, sign them with biro and scan them into PDF files [name each scanned form properly]

4. Scan other personal docs like birth certificate, International passport, degree cert and transcript into PDF [name each scanned form properly]

5. Go to www.saskatchewan.ca again, search for SINP page there, click on "Apply Online", create your account on OASIS portal (this is the SINP application portal where you will upload all the filled and scanned docs into, one by one, page by page. Carefully go through the process. It's very easy for any graduate to go through. grin grin

6. Upon populating each of the placeholder on OASIS, join a forum or whatsapp group to monitor when the program will open to start accepting applications again. cheesy

NB:
If you have a complete workstation at home (ie scanner, copier, laptop, printer etc), you should finish the above process within 4 days of diligent work (depending on your speed)

If you have to do it in a public business centre, you should be done within 7 days.

Factor that into your schedule.

Thanks for breezing in on this but it is a known fact that WES/ECA is a requirement for getting into the EE pool which is an inevitable stage before seeking provincial nominations. How then would the emboldened play out? Please do shed more light on this.

My advice has always been if you have 435 and above. ..be patient...you can't be in the pool for a year and ITA benchmark won't come down that low...it amazes me when people chase provincial nomination with an already existing CRS of 435...for what na?

BTW, provincial route to clinching ITA is an expensive route...I look at those singles inside the Canadian EE thread hammering ITA with 460 points within weeks of opening their profile and landing PPR within 3 months. They don't have an idea at all. cheesy cheesy what people pass tru through the provincial route before coming to get the ITA that they got within weeks of finishing their IELTS...some are even yet to understand the procedure properly and PPR is already falling on them. grin cheesy

IT will all end in praise! IJN

I collected mine through them but did the processing myself. How do I mean? This etx-ng encountered problems @my department while trying to collate my results I kept on disturbing them until I went to the transcript office myself, on getting there I did every necessary thing and the result was later dent to thr transcript office before forwarding it to those unprofessional etx-ng for transmission to my email that's all, they don't do anything, once they come across any challenge that abandon it

1. Can I send Notification of Result to WES along with the Transcript or it must be Certificate and Transcript for evaluation ?

2. I have OND and HND from two different Schools, can i send the Trancripts together at once to minimize the cost of Parcel or its compulsory that the Schools send it directly.

Thanks.

Hello Fellow PNP Hopefuls, I wish to thank all the people who have been keeping this thread alive ( through questions, clarifications and responses) even though it is a seasonal thread. May God crown all your efforts in Jesus name, Amen.

Please for those who have successfully completed their documentation for SINP, please how did you complete the Statutory Declaration of Common Law partnership? Did you pay for it to be notarized in the court or by commissioner of oaths? Kindly help me with information on this as this is the only form I am yet to complete.

Wishing all of us compliments of the season and numerous PNP openings come 2018!!!

Thank you

Dear Newmum0615, please assist confirm my occupation fits this NOC: 1114 Other financial Officers:
I have a Physics degree but have been in banking for 9 years as marketer (account/relationship officer). The Lead statement says:
"This unit group includes professional occupations in finance not elsewhere classified such as financial planners, financial examiners and inspectors, financial investigators, financial underwriters, mortgage brokers and trust officers. They are employed by banks, trust companies, investment firms and governments, or they may be self-employed."
It also includes "account manager" as example of job title. However the main duties doesnt really fit my job description and one the employment requirement states "a bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce, economics or a related field is usually required." This I do not have.
Please assist review or advise if there is amy other closely related NOC I can adopt.

The NOC that fits you is 6235 and please, do not be bothered about the employment requirement. The operative word in that employment requirement is "usually" which does not connote it is a must have. More so, on the EE journey, it is generally believed your educational background can differ to your work experience. Once you can provide a reference letter that conforms to your chosen NOC, you are good to go. Have you checked your likely CRS point?
