A friend of mine has a deficiency in his olevel mathematics and he is gunning for Law in UI. He wants to know if UI accepts a pass (D) in o'level mathematics. I told him UI do Accept it, but i was unable to convince him enough as we are both aspirants. i will like the bosses here to explain to him better especially those that are in already.
He is following this thread.

University of Ibadan postume examination will most likely come up late September. The Postume tutorial organized by ui is scheduled to end 6th of September 2018.

Besides, the University of Ibadan just released form for 2018/2019 postgraduate applicants.

Please, don't halt your preparations. It's not over until its is over

HOT CHEMISTRY.

Hydrogen Sulphide is prepared at one end of a laboratory. It takes 5 seconds for a student at the other end to smell it. How long will it take to smell sulphur dioxide from the same position?
(A) 5 seconds also.

I know of a colleague who got D7 too.
But then times are changing, you can tell him to confirm from the brochure.

A ball of mass 10kg strikes a wall normally with a velocity of 5ms-1 and travels back with
the same velocity. Calculate its impulse on the wall.

Calculate the velocity of the wave represented by the following wave equation
y =20sin(60(pie)x - 0.5(pie)x) ,
if all the distances are in metres.

A stone is projected vertically upwards with a velocity of 20ms. Two seconds later, a second stone is projected similarly with the same velocity. When the two stones meet, the second one is rising at a velocity of 10ms. Calculate (i)the length of time the second stone is in motion before they met. (ii) velocity of the first stone when they met. (g=10ms)

PS I NEED WORKINGS. DON'T JUST COME AND DROP ANSWER

UI don't use O'level result in her admission modalities. All you need is at least C6 in your 5 core subjectsto qualify you for the post utme. Your jamb score and post utme score will be used to calculate the cut off mark

u can't matriculate twice in ui

No, Ui does not allow double matriculation and it is illegal to do such. But some people do and get away with it.

I think it's a criminal offense self if caught

Congratulations on your result.

Please know that the university of Ibadan does not reckon with your O'level results for admission processing. Only your Postume and probably utme score will decide your faith

You stand a fair chance as your aggregate is 35.625 ( no much difference from 35). Your Postume score should not be less than 78-80 if you really want a spot in university of Ibadan's mins class

I applied for agricultural economics at university of Ibadan and Ogun state university choosing unibadan as first choice and oou as second choice.
oou post utme form is out and am thinking of obtaining the form and writing the exam but what's causing the confusion is that I don't know if oou admits second choice applicants and concerning my chosen course I don't think it should be competitive, and I don't want to put it at first choice because I prefer going to ui than oou,I don't want to change it to first choice and I don't want to risk only ui like I did last year.
pls I need advise if oou accepts second choice in agric department or what do you think I can do (I don't want to apply to only ui)I did it last year and regretted and I don't want to put oou as first choice.
pls I need advice on how to go about it.

u should have said 72-78 since the cut off mark for MBBS was 71.625

Lol.. Don't ever aim to have a score same as the last cut off. There's every tendency it will increase by at least 5 marks
