The 2018 World Cup draw will take place in Russia's capital city of Moscow on December 1 at the State Kremlin Palace, which is frequently used as a concert hall.

According to a Fifa spokesman: "This prestigious entertainment venue with a capacity of 6,000 spectators has hosted many international and locally renowned artists in the past, as well as traditional ballets and operas."

How does the draw work?

A total of 32 teams will feature at the 2018 World Cup, 31 of them coming through a qualifying campaign and one (Russia) making it as host nation.

Those 32 teams will be split into four pots based on their current Fifa world rankings. Pot 1 will contain Russia and the highest-ranked seven teams. Pot 2 will feature the next best eight teams, and so on for Pots 3 and 4.

The draw will divide the 32 teams into eight groups of four from A to H. Each group will play three matches, before the top two countries advance to the second round. Russia will be in Group A as host nation.

Don't be so sure. Belgium will probably top the group, the second spot will be keenly contested between the three sides. Iceland are a pretty decent side they are no push over. But I still see us getting out of the group if we turn up else we might even end up finishing last.

Belgium are no pushovers. They are way stronger than the super eagles. England too are strong, i hope this group never happens!

Belgium is strong, so is England and Nigeria.

One thing you are forgetting so quickly is that fact that a lot of players won't play in the world cup or might not be at 100 percent, all thanks to injury. Belgium is just one team. At the most, they would beat us but that would not imply that Nigeria might not stage an upset in the world cup.

So long we avoid Germany, Brazil and the host, then I have no issue. I'd live for us to play Portugal though.
