Switzerland won 10, lost 1 and drew 1 in their last 12 competitive matches, from their qualifiers. Portugal won 9 and lost 1 throughout the qualifiers. How many teams have been able to manage such feats recently and how are they undeserving of their places?

This is the most pathetic and useless ranking done by FIFA.

This ranking is so annoying and defies logic. Whatever parameter or indices they used must have contracted virus. Can't imagine a team that had a smooth sail in the qualifying rounds for Russia 2018, without losing a match, yet, teams like Burkina-Faso and Cameroon could be over and above the Super Eagles.

If the criteria of fifa ranking is anything to go by, then we should not raise an eyebrows. In the Nov ranking Nigeria is placed 50 n 8 in d world n Africa respectively. If u check Nigeria drew 1-1 against Algeria which are below Nigeria in d ranking...... Due to that fact we will lose points and Algeria will gain points for getting a draw against a team above them. Secondly, the friendly match was not competitive hence fifa didn't use it to grade the rankings.....
