The fraud going on in Auchi Polytechnic Auchi under the watch of the Acting Rector Dr (TPL) Momodu Sanusi Jimoh has attracted so many attention both national and international.



The management of the institution invited the SES (School of Evening Studies) OND (Ordinary National Diploma) graduates of 2015/2016 academic year to apply for HND (Higher National Diploma) programme.

It is so unfortunate that after spending four (4) years instead of the normal three(3) years at the institution to obtain their OND due to Industrial Actions both internal and external, they( the applicants) all look forward to coming back and complete their HND programme because this has been the practice of polytechnics in Nigeria.

Consequently Auchi Polytechnic Auchi invited over 14,000 students to apply for the HND programme, each application form cost was about #20,000 with the instruction that all interested applicants should come and make the application in designated banks around the school.

This is the scenario over 14,000 students risked their lives to travel down to Auchi for the application and subsequently for the screening exercise.

Now after the application, the school management announced that the school will not be admitting any of the graduates into 2017/2018 academic year. This is so unfortunate, very unfortunate coming from the ‘’best polytechnic’’ in Africa
