To change Video Format for individual channels on Strong 4669X on 111p software.

press page down while on the channel until you get the desired format.

Eg. France 24 Eng on Sirius 4 is transmitted in Widescreen format, which truncates the Picture at the right and left edges. Changing to letterbox 4:3 format, the resulting video has blackbars top and bottom.

Note: Changing through the menu affects all channels.

Hello friends. my dad just bought a Euro star dish with Strong 4663. I was not around when it was installed but we only get those christian channels - emma. tv, omega, hope, presstv, MFM etv, The BBC, Aljezeera, and others are srammbed and I know one can watch those on FTA, What do I do to watch other channels especially news (others if posible) on that position? Did u recently upgrade d 53x? i guess u did . i had a similar experience some weeks back. i noticed after upgrading with latest software fake 53x works well for some hours then trip off. if u did leave for days or weeks unused it will not trip off until u start using it. Bros u need to take a visit to Alaba boys or Oshodi.

I downloaded and updated my 69x from strong website. The aac option is on the audio menue but it is nt producing audio sound. Wat should i do @all

Good Day great Gurus. I have Strong SR4669 decoder. There is a chaneel on that belong to Winners Chapel It was formally called Breakthrough Tv now changed to Jesus Is Lord. The channel is expected to be free but it is placing Dollar sign in is front. despite the fact that I have a paid subscription of MYTV running it is not showing anything. Is there anything I can do to access the channel. I will appreciate any positive contribution. Thanks

I was able to install astra 2b of a friend witq 4669xII on wednesday, infact I soo much like the decoder. I felt like taking away the decoder.

@all be on the look out for boxes with front panel of 53x and system info of 51x

i will like to know how to update the firmware of a fake strong SRT 63x, because you can't use a fake 63x to view all HITV channels

for you to be able to watch those dstv channels, don't forget to get a HD system as it will not work on an ordinary mp4 system

whats the effect of 1.11p on Strong 4669x. Does it have the ACC/HE audio codec like 1.10p. My Infinity is booming and I dont' want to loose the audio capability. Does 1.11p increases the Mpeg4 quality or the audio quality?

Also, how much is the new 4669x11? anybody?
