Glo have done an extra-ordinary job for its customers .Glo tariff will soon become the lowest tariff off all Telecommunication companies in Nigeria and possibly West Africa because of the installation of the Glo-1 Submarine cables.I read this on their newly designed website:www.gloworld.com "Because our intention is to provide basic connectivity and bandwidth services that you, our esteemed customers, can enjoy, we at Glo have single-handedly undertaken the installation of a submarine cable to bring the world to West Africa. This cable, known as the Glo-1 Submarine Cable, will ensure the availability of bandwidth at a very affordable price to enterprise customers in West Africa." This high-capacity Glo-1 fibre-optic cable will bring direct connectivity to the UK and from there to America and the rest of the world. The cable is 9,800 km long. Its landing points are in Lagos, Lisbon, Portugal and Bude, England. The Glo-1 cable will provide a capacity of 32 X 10 Gigabits per second on its 2-fibre pair system. The Glo-1 cable will thus provide excess bandwidth to all the cities connected to it. This means a much faster and robust connectivity for voice, data and video. The cable will connect most West African countries through special branching units. , SO BE PREPARED. If you haven't bought Glo line i advise u do so now b4 it is too late, GLO l Rule YoUr WorLD |

Glo is crap!! All noise and no action. Now they have so overloaded their network, the whole thing has fallen to pieces. Even before the fire in Lagos, voice and data service in the South East has been terrible since late last year. Glo 1 is also another crappy project. So far, i have seen zero benefit of the cable as opposed to MTN where we can see the immediate impact of Main 1. Glo is being very economical with the truth. they are having serious technical problems!! 1 Like |
