Just after Ghana and Nigeria made complaints about the slave camps and trade?.......
Connect the dots if you are smart enough.
This guy should be placed under close surveillance pending results of investigations.
If he is found to be lying he should be arrested and SEVERELY tortured till he provides his sponsors.

How the Bleep can't people tell this guy is paid?

Acting surprised that Arabs are enslaving West Africans? Morocco wants to friggin join ECOWAS!!!
The day the black nation realizes it has no friends is the day we would develop, instead of looting funds and sending it abroad!

In March 2008, former French President Jacques Chirac said:
“Without Africa, France will slide down into the rank of a third [world] power”
Chirac’s predecessor François Mitterand already prophesied in 1957 that:
“Without Africa, France will have no history in the 21st century”

''....It’s such an evil system even denounced by the European Union, but France is not ready to move from that colonial system which puts about 500 billions dollars from Africa to its treasury year in year out.''
''France has been holding the national reserves of fourteen african countries since 1961: Benin, Burkina Faso, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Togo, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo-Brazzaville, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon..''

As usual, useless Nigerian youths will always find a way to drag ''IGBO'' into every damn thing.
Is there a reference to Igbos on that post?
I saw a Cameroonian and Edo witness but no specific reference to Igbos or any Nigerian tribe selling slaves in Libya.
Modern Africa and Nigeria is doomed when educated youths only derive joy from ethnic bigotry.
I regret being a Nigerian!

Be careful when reading some of this Lybia slave news. It was caught on camera, with pictures and videos showing ARAB looking people engaged in the crimes. Suddenly, there's a new twist. Guess who's responsible for this new twist? The BBC!!. It has been on their lips since last night with the brainwashed African reporter shouting on the microphone its blacks selling blacks and not Arabs.
Britain was the world's most brutal slave trading nation and what they're promoting now is telling you it was blacks that sold blacks before in times of old. This is the lie they want you believe.

A new slavery is coming. I've been saying this for long on this forum and on my blog. What you saw in Libya is just the prelude of whats to come. This whole slave trade news is not about Libya. This is Europe testing public opinion on whats to come.

As long as white people remains our frame of reference for excellence, for so long shall we worship white people, for so long shall our youths keep washing up at European and Mediterraneans sea coasts, for so long shall our elites flock there for medicals, education, e.t.c.

As long as we continue to accept the indoctrination projected down to us as education, for so long shall we look up to white people.

Unless what we call education is changed and replaced with one we create, for so long shall we look up to white people, for so long shall future generation of Africans risk their lives to go live in the white man's country. We're going to be fully re-enslaved and re-colonized in future. This's the only natural outcome of our collective stupidity.

Nairaland has become synonymous with idiocry, ethnic baiting, bigotry and tribalism and the Owner/moderators seem unbothered.
It's absolutely ridiculous that some idiots choose to engage in bigotry in such a sensitive matter when the world is expecting us to proffer a solution to this issue.
There is something inherently wrong with the members of this forum.

I don't have any single iota of pity. for those people who willingly walked into their own slavery all in the guise of escaping poverty in their home country. Libya has long ceased to function as a country since the death of Gaddafi. It's currently in a state of anarchy where every strong man with arms is a law to himself and yet, we have people who have failed to look inward for oppurtunities. Expecially here in Nigeria the land of abundant opportunities. Instead, opted to embark on a journey of uncertainty to Europe where they have been told that things come on a platter of gold. Thought, I am not against people migrating, but if you must, let it be properly documented and for a good reason. Get a visa and board a flight. Not the other way round where you will end up dying in the Sahara desert, sold into slavery, tortured to death or even drowning at the Mediterranean Sea. It will be totally wrong to put the blame on only the Libyans because our people from various part of the country are corroborating with them. The victims gets sold to foreign buyers by their traffickers right here in Nigeria even before their journey begins. It's a pity, they paid for their own slavery. AND MY PEOPLE PERISH FOR THE LACK OF KNOWLEDGE

Sarrki is becoming a daily nuisance on this board. MODs you guys better do something about him. Just look at all the hidden posts, and nobody will suspect that he is the instigator.
mynd44 and lalasticlala instigate these tribalism by letting the banana peel remain so other trespassers will slip, they so by retain traffic to the forum.

It is nauseating that seun lets these mods do a poor job. How does a report like this leak and a first poster accuses a particular part of the country for promoting the slave trade yet he and his ilks are not banned, you may argue they didn't mention the tribe by name, but when an abuse is thrown even with undertone intentions, it still passes as an abuse yet seun and his moderators let this reign.

Shame on you and all what this forum stands for.

Lies and its all Fake news. There are videos showing Libyans as the ones doing the auctions and even BBC confirmed that they are Libyans.
My dear, say what you are sure of o! It is not a lie at all!! It's very true. The locals (Libyans) are aptly assisted by Nigerians and others. In fact, from the information we have, here's one secret: those people that go round Nigeria-especially in the south, claiming to be "trolleys" (traffickers that help people to go to Europe), SOME are actually agents of those Libyans!! They are only recruiting people to lure to Libya for such things. In fact, the way they arrange it is so prefect-they collect money from the "customers", and pretend to be helping them to cross Libya-and then on their way, "from nowhere, gunmen show up to kidnap the customers". Take note of the part in quote...the truth is that, it is the traffickers that usually notify the gunmen of their movement/location and alert them when they are there. That's just 1 of the numerous things that is going on.

if these so called migrants use the amount of effort and money that they use to go Libya knowing the risks involved into their business venture, they will be very successful. When there is a will, there will be definitely be a way, the mind is a powerful weapon. Do not kill or slave yourself because you want to go Europe. Europe is not heaven
