The ancient city of Abeokuta in Ogun State is presently witnessing a rare display of beauty and Para/Military presence turning the hitherto quiet City into a bee-hive of activities.
"Managing Migration And Facilitating Trade & Development in 21st Century Nigeria-NIS Perspective" is the theme of this year's Comptroller-General Of Immigration Annual Conference 2017.
The Conference which has attracted dignitaries including former President Olusegun Obasanjo , GCFR, Governor of Ogun State, Bikunle Amosun and a host of others took off today at the Mitros Residences Abeokuta and is expected to end tomorrow, the 8th day of December 2017.
Earlier, while welcoming participants, the Comptroller-General of Immigration, Mr Muhammad Babandede MFR had appreciated Chief Obasanjo ,GCFR, for finding time to be physically present. He also thanked the Governor and good people of Ogun State for hosting the Conference.
The CGIS's Annual Conference is usually organized for officers from the rank of Comptroller upwards. It is usually a time for reviewing the activities of the Service within the year and charting new road-maps for enhanced and efficient service delivery.
