PDP Chairmanship Fallout: Yorubas Have Won Again by BakireBulmaker: 8:43pm On Dec 10, 2017
By losing out in the PDP chairmanship contest, deliberately or not, Yorubas have scored another political goal by indirectly saying to the ruling APC that they are very much happy with the political status quo.

With a VP that acts as president every now and then, Yorubas have everything to lose by abandoning APC for PDP. After PMB's 8 years, SW stands a very high chance of clinching the presidency.

Fayose and co must be geniuses. They know what is best for the generality of the Yorubas, party notwithstanding.

Finally, Yorubas have successfully revived PDP so that Igbos can remain therein as opposition while we remain in the mainstream.
Left to the Igbos, the PDP would have been dead and they all would have defected to the APC. But Yorubas would not have any of that. cool

Kudos to Yoruba politicians. cool

Honestly, a SW PDP chairman would have affected our political fortune a this time negatively.

Igbos will do anything to be in our shoes at this time.

Trying to console yourself, you people were fighting desperately for the seat yesterday that some candidates had to step down so as to generate a lot of votes for a consensus candidate, last last the votes they got were not even up to 40% of what Secondus won,So don't make it seem like you people strategized not to win the chairmanship

Nowhere as usual.

Can you see how SW inability to present a consensus candidate for PDP chairmanship is going to rob us off the plum opposition job?
It's funny how people comments come back to bite them in the ass,you were complaining about the inability of SW to unite, and now that you lost, you are now saying it was a strategy.

And to think only Fayose and FFK both Yorubas kept PDP afloat when Magu came for the kill.

The igbos now jumping up and down now were no where to be found o.. A good fraction of them decamped almost immediately to APC out of fear of the unknown.

I expect those ones in APC to start decamping back to PDP before 2019. Okorocha too should find his square root.

Thank God the likes of Tinubu saw tomorrow and brought APC to life. Yoruba would have been in political mess by now if left to these igbos.
