By losing out in the PDP chairmanship contest, deliberately or not, Yorubas have scored another political goal by indirectly saying to the ruling APC that they are very much happy with the political status quo.

With a VP that acts as president every now and then, Yorubas have everything to lose by abandoning APC for PDP. After PMB's 8 years, SW stands a very high chance of clinching the presidency.

Fayose and co must be geniuses. They know what is best for the generality of the Yorubas, party notwithstanding.

Finally, Yorubas have successfully revived PDP so that Igbos can remain therein as opposition while we remain in the mainstream.
Left to the Igbos, the PDP would have been dead and they all would have defected to the APC. But Yorubas would not have any of that. cool

Kudos to Yoruba politicians. cool
Pdp has more states in the morning ss than the se. The SE with 5 states has 3 parties in governance positions that should tell you something-plus, if that's SE alone voted uche secondus, he would have lost most other regions both north and ss voted the guy. And how the hell did the Yoruba revive PdP?
