Our client is currently looking for a procurement officer at its head office in Lagos.


RESPONSIBILITIES
 To oversee purchases and develop new contracts
 To procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our organization.
 To follow procurement procedures, maintain an updated list of inventory and incoming purchases and supplies, and be responsible for approving purchases
 Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times
 Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company
 Identifies and researches potential new suppliers.

EDUCATION
• B.Sc. in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related course.
• Experience in the use of ERP systems, Microsoft Navision will be a plus

EXPERIENCE
• Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems
• 2 years previous experience as procurement officer or related position.
