Alex Iwobi tops the list of players of Nigeria descents plying their trade for the North London club.

1. Alex Iwobi

Alex Iwobi was born in Lagos before moving to England at the age of four. He is the nephew of former professional footballer Jay-Jay Okocha.
Iwobi joined Arsenal while still at primary school, and was first involved in a first-team match as an unused substitute in a League Cup match against West Bromwich Albion on 25 September 2013. He signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal in October 2015.

2. Chuba Akpom

Akpom joined Arsenal at the age of six. He made his debut for the Arsenal U18 side at the age of 15, and signed his first professional contract with Arsenal on 10 October 2012, a day after turning 17. In December 2012 Akpom received his first call into the Arsenal senior squad, when he was an unused substitute for a 2–1 Champions League defeat to Olympiakos.
Akpom, who is of Nigerian descent, has featured for the English junior teams but is still eligible to represent Nigeria. In May 2016, it was reported that he was one of three players formally approached by the Nigeria Football Federation.

3. Kelechi Nwakali

Nwakali was named the captain of the Nigeria 2015 U-17 World Cup squad and he led them to win the title, and also winning the Golden Ball Award along the way.
Nwakali started his career at the Diamond Football Academy and after his performances at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup, in which he won the Golden Ball Award, he signed with English Premier League side Arsenal.

4. Xavier Amaechi

16-year-old Amaechi is an attacking midfielder. While in high school, he was selected to play for England's under-15 team. During the 2016 Future Cup tournament in Netherlands, involving various youth teams, Amaechi scored the second goal in Arsenal’s game against Ajax, helping the team finish top of their group.

He also helped Arsenal's under-16 team win the Liam Brady Cup this April after he scored the only goal in the final.His scholarship deal with Arsenal includes a guarantee that he will be offered a professional contract once he turns 17. He will be turning 17 by January.

5. Joseph Olowu

Promising Nigerian defender, Joseph Olowu has signed a new contract with Premier League side, Arsenal.
The Gunners announce on their official website, that defender Olowu has signed his first professional contract with the club.
Olowu, who celebrated his 18th birthday on November 27, 2017, has been rewarded with a new deal thanks to his impressive displays for Arsenal’s U18 and U23 teams.

6. Tobi Omole

Tobi is a youngster of Nigerian descent born on 17th Dec. 1997. He is capable of playing at centre-back or as a defensive-midfielder, Tobi made his debut for the U18s when he was still a schoolboy and featured 14 times at that level last campaign.
Previously mainly deployed as a centre-back, Tobi was regularly used at left-back last season. The highlight of his campaign undoubtedly came when he scored a dramatic late winner as a substitute against Swansea City in February.

7. Tolaji Bola

A powerful and commanding full back who is also capable of playing at the heart of defence, Tolaji made the breakthrough to under-23 level in 2016/17.
Already capped for England at under-18 level, Hale End graduate Tolaji has developed a reputation as being a ball- playing defender and routinely represented the club in the Uefa Youth League last season. He is also a Nigeria by birth.

8. Folarin Balogun

He is of Nigeria decent, though a citizen of England. Balogun is capable of playing as an attacking midfielder or up front, Folarin was on the scoresheet for the U23s in their pre-season victory over Bournemouth.
The starlet will be aiming to feature heavily for the U18s in his first season as a scholar, while he will also have designs on breaking into the U23 squad as the campaign progresses.
A powerful and skillful player, Folarin is the youngest member of the new intake of scholars yet is amongst the most highly regarded by the club.

9. Aaron Eyoma

Also sometimes known as Aaron Jordan, Aaron is capable of playing as a right-winger or at right-back.
The Hale End product enjoyed an eventful first year as a scholar as he impressed for the U18s, whilst also breaking into the UEFA Youth League and U21 squads.
Fast, skilful and a good crosser, Aaron scored five goals for the U18s.
This season he will hope to feature prominently for the U21 team as he looks to secure his long-term future at the club. Eyoma is of Nigeria descent, Feb. 2016 he signed a professional contract with Arsenal fc

10. James Olayinka

James is of Nigeria descent who is capable of playing as an attacking midfielder or a striker, James was one of the standout performers for Arsenal U16s last season.

Having now signed scholarship terms with the club, the prospect will be looking to enjoy another positive season, this time at U18 level.
