Sola scriptura is the teaching that all matters of faith must be guided by the Bible only.

The above submission begs a very fundamental question: where is it written in the Bible that the Bible should be compiled or that the bible alone should be consulted in all matters of faith? Essentially, sola scriptura is extra-biblical and is it's own objection.

The Bible itself is a product of the teaching authority of the church as the Bible was commissioned by the church. The Church has not lost her authority which was given to it by Christ
