The federal government has released a state-by-state breakdown of another tranche of Paris Club refund.
The money was released alongside the allocations from the Federal Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC).

Yet some states still owe workers.
There may be no Paris refund next year and that'll resort to states upping their games in tax implementation and realization.

Meanwhile this money has already entered their campaign budget

Is that one a govt?

A democratic state where states are not better than begars. Going to one federal father christmas on monthly bases will only make states more miserable, unproductive, unsustainable and not competitive. No wonder, they can't even pay salaries.

There was a country indeed!

Nigeria is a failed country! All they do is SHARE the common wealth between themselves and wait for the next TRANCHE. No accountability, no transparency, no planning, no oversight!

I repeat, Nigeria is a failed state!! Quote me anywhere..

Its time for workers to smile, I urge all state to pay their workers outstanding salaries. it makes no sense to be constructing roads while workers are dying of hunger

I don't agree with Lagos @8 billion. Lagos should get 10 billion as long as Kano got 10 billion. Its equally a cash cow of the nation.

Why shouldn't Lagos collect?
Lagos State would collect the money and dump it in the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund while your Governors would use theirs to buy properties in Lagos.

This should enable most states pay at least 3 month salary arrears and still have funds for 1 or 2 projects.
Exceptions will always exist but on average, i expect that.
