No it won't

Nigeria's problem is resource dependency.

The oyinbos relied on selling our natural resources to help fund the running of the colony of Nigeria, which we continued with when we got independent.

We also got reliant on manufactured goods imported from abroad during the colonial time, which we continued with once we got independent.

As a result we got reliant on importation and refused to rely on manufacturing.

Which led to job loss, and our oil dependent economy.

Dubai is the way it is because the uae has 10million people, and produces more oil than we do

This is no surprise..
The North was probably a darling to the British.

No wonder they nearly went berserk with fear when Ahmadu Bello threatened them with secession.
Now, Both the upper and lower house has become their birth right.


It is worthy to note that as at then, there was almost a 98.9% illiteracy in the North.
