The Super Eagles dropped one place in the latest Fifa ranking released by the world football governing body on Thursday. Nigeria’s senior national team has dropped a place to 51st in the latest Fifa world ranking released on Thursday. The Super Eagles gathered a total of 640 points to fall to number ninth in Africa behind Senegal, Tunisia, Egypt, Congo DR, Morocco, Burkina Faso, Cameroon and Ghana. Senegal end 2017 as Africa’s best team with 884 points while the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia end as runners-up after gathering 838 points.
