The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump recently faced heavy backlash for some allegedly ill-informed statements he made about Nigeria and Haiti during an immigration meeting. According to the New York Times, Trump said all Haitians have AIDS and Nigerian immigrants would never “go back to their huts” in Africa.

Well, Mr. Trump, just in case you didn’t know or you haven’t been to the motherland before (being ironic) or your “alleged” comments were based on what you see on TV (which is mostly the negative stuff), Africa is not synonymous with poverty and not all Nigerians live in huts.

Glance through these photos of some very fancy properties in Nigeria and judge for yourself.

Most of the Nigerians who over stay their visas probably don't live in these exquisite apartments shocked

If all our leaders had served and are serving this country selflessly to fix our perennial problems, her citizens would not be trooping to the western world to seek greener pastures.

Donald Trump is known to have psychiatric issue and has been confirmed so by the American Society of psychiatrist.

I'm afraid his madness may lead him to push the launch button of the numerous nuclear weapons in the US arsenal and destroy the human race.

But did Trump really say those words?

1. Trump denies he ever said those words
2. All the major participants at that meeting (Kelly, tillerson, Huckabee-sanders) all deny he said those words
3. The NYT that published the story quoted an anonymous source without a name or a face to it

So then my questions
1. What evidence does anyone have that trump ever said those words?
2. How do we know this "anonymous" source of the NYT was even privy to anything that was said in the meeting?
3. How do we even know the said anonymous source exists and this is not just a concocted story by the MSM?

As far as I am concerned, the evidence is stacked heavily in favour of Trump. On his side are actual people who were confirmed to have been at the meeting all denying he said anything like that and on the other side is an anonymous source who nobody knows who he is or if he even exists

Who has psychiatric issue between Buhari and Trump? Is like u are a useless hypocrite because if Buhari have done half of what Trump has done, no nigerians will be running out of the country.
Buhari caused all these from Trump.

The new York times is a liberal fake news outlet. Never objective, always full of bullshit. I don't believe trump said it. He said he didn't and many of the people who were at that meeting have spoken up to say he didn't say it. End of story. FAKE NEWS

Even if he said so, the words may have figurative meaning. by the way, our very own presidency have sometimes referred to nigerians as animals and we were too patriotic to condemn it and we want to crucify trump.

Hypocrites!

Why, what should he have said? Is where you live worse than a hut?

Minimum wage 18k in Nigeria, in the US you can make up to 25k to 30k as a cleaner in a day

Ordinary traders in Awka make over 100k a day. Not to mention Onitsha or Aba. Some women sellers in the market make over 500k a day. Some of them can barely speak English. Taxi drivers cam earn over 20k a day. If you want money, don't go for minimum wage salaried job.

Nigeria fix up your life.

Fix up your head and quit supporting a bigot.

Nigerians lives in huts does not necessarily hold weight. For instance, majority of the populace lives in abject poverty. The 'hut' in quotation means, no adequate power supply, water supply, infrastructure deficit, lack of vision, incentives and invention. Gigantic corruption and incompetent leaders. That simply exhibit living in hut.
