I greet everyone in the house!

First of all, I'm among those that does not support sponsoring the education of a girl or a lady who is not yet your wife. I see it as a PONZI SCHEME cos you can loose out totally. The lady might decide to marry someone else after you've finished sending her to school. It's a common occurrence in the society.

My girlfriend is yet to gain admission into higher institution. She comes from a poor background and her dad is late. She currently stay with her aunty. Her aunty's family is not willing to sponsor her.

She's intelligent and hard working. Honestly I want her to further her education but the big problem right now is sponsorship.

I am willing to support in my own little way, but truth be told I cannot bear the main burden of doing that. I have some other financial commitments.

She's planning going to school and working at the same time maybe part time program or something, but I don't know how that's going to work out.

Some advise is needed please......
Thanks

Can't you date a girl in your own financial class
Girls from poor background should be left to remain single or marry the men in their social stratum....
Most of these girls would never come near a broke guy even with a long pole...
Anyway, why am I even disturbing myself;it's my fellow men that evoked the gold digging instinct in women...

Yeah yeah...very common. Well I'll advice in 4 ways. Choose ur choice.

1) Don't sponsor her, don't waste ur money and remove ur mind from marrying her after sch.

2) Sponsor her but remove ur mind from marriage. Bleep the hell out of her as many times as possible so that u will not lose ur money.

3) Marry her first if you're that financially capable, then send her to school.

4) Sponsor her, don't bleep and don't expect to marry her..just do it for humanity.

Yes, I'm a graduate and also working

Real kindness is helping someone with no intention of getting paid back in whatever form. If you really want to help her do so with a free mind. You can encourage her to learn a skill before she goes to school that she can use to take care of herself, it mainly depends on her and what she aims to achieve in life.

Support her to the extent you can, you never can tell what help she can render to you tomorrow.

the media is full of men being betrayed by women they put through training and here you are volunteering to be another victim. you want to come back here a few years from now in tears after having been betrayed?
if you want an educated chick dont educate her yourself. get a chick who already is educated to the level you want.

If you can't see yourself married to her now BEFORE becoming father Christmas, then don't do it.

My point: Marry her first so you know you're investing in your wife, your partner. Not a girlfriend who would one day say, ' I don't love him, he's just not my type, how do I tell him'...

Who has that ' yenyenyen white little boy picture?

I don't advise this at all. The only exception is if you're so altruistic.

It's not advisable for both parties involved.
She might marry you out of pity and gratitude for training her, even if she doesn't feel love for you in years to come.

...she might break up and you'll feel she is an ingrate, which she might be. Then you'll create another lamentation thread.

It might also work out for you both.

We never can tell, so...do everything with wisdom and discretion.
She should help herself too.

You can help her without expecting her to do anything.
All you should do is, tell her explicitly that you would try to be paying only her school fees and encourage her to learn some skills to help her make money and help herself in feeding and clothing
