In a swift reaction the #BringBackOurGirls a group of campaigners who have been demonstrating for the return f the abducted Chibok Girls alive have come out to clarify that the recovered girl is Salomi Pogu and she is number 15 not 86 on the list of abducted Chibok girls.



The Spokesman of the group Sesugh Akume gave the clarification on Thursday in reaction to an earlier statement announcing the recovered girl by the Nigerian Army Theatre command.



Akume confirmed that the news of the recovery of Salomi is true



“Salomi Pogu is a daughter of Mallam Pogu Yahi from Kaumutahyahi, a village in Kuburmbula ward of Chibok, LGA”



“Both her parents are currently IDP’s in Rumirgo village, in nearby Askira/Uba LGA in Borno state”.



Akume used the occasion to congratulate the military for bringing the number of missing girls with the rescue of Salomi at Pulka, Borno state from 113 to 112.
