LRNZH posted an article on politics section with the caption: Was President Buhari Misinformed about the Katsina Power Project.

https://www.nairaland.com/4274494/president-buhari-misinformed-katsina-power

He claimed his querying of the President's New Year address was based on a face book post from a close friend of his .To justify his claim he posted pictures of some fallen decrepit pillars. When challenged on the reliability of his friend's claim he challenged anybody with contrary pics of the wind mill to post them. LRNZH used to be factual in his posts but on this one, well, something is surely amiss here. Below is an address by Kaysina state governor corroborating PMB's claim with accompanying pictures of the true state of the windmill.

Gov. Aminu Masari of Katsina State has urged the Federal Government to accelerate the completion of the 10 Megawatt Windmill Power Project in Rimi Local Government Area of the state.

Masari made the call on Thursday in Katsina at the launching of a Pilot Edition of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Clinic.

“We are calling on the Federal Government to complete the project because it will enhance Small and Medium Enterprises in the state.

“The SMEs if given the necessary support like power supply will assist to reduce rural-to-urban migration.

“Many of the youth will prefer to conduct their businesses at their various villages instead of migrating to the urban centres,’’ he said.

The Governor said that the call was imperative because of the project’s importance to boosting socio-economic activities in the state.

He stated that the project had reached 90 per cent completion, adding that completing it would assist to reduce poverty among youths and women in rural areas.

Masari disclosed that his administration had established an agency saddled with the responsibility of fighting poverty among people of the state.

The Minister of State for Industries, Trade and Investment, Hajiya Aisha Abubakar, said that the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, was championing the empowerment of the SMEs.

Abubakar said that the Federal Government was committed to the diversification of the economy by giving maximum support to SMEs.

She also said that the government had established a Development Bank that would come to the aid of SMEs in the country.

She commended the Katsina State Government for giving maximum support to entrepreneurs to enhance the establishment of small businesses in the state.

1. Pictures 1 and 3 are not from Katsina state. Please guide your readers appropriately.
2. You could not respond in my thread here ... https://www.nairaland.com/4274494/president-buhari-misinformed-katsina-power ... Is this a ploy to change the narrative?
3. Buhari claimed that the project has been tested and will be completed this year, and a Katsina state indigene with whom I am familiar with, an ardent Buhari supporter came out to refute the claim on Facebook
.

I tell truth to both the geese and the gander. That I am/was sympathetic to APC and Buhari doesn't preclude me from promoting any issue that will benefit the country.

The Buhari adminstration needs to sit up because they're getting many things wrong if you care to know.

They have lost the support of the SE from lack of inclusiveness, losing the support of the Middle Belt due to insecurity and losing the sympathy of intellectuals from all over the country from lack of performance.

There are the pictures in my thread anyway.

Have a great new week.

A man left office as Head of State in 1985, before many of you were born.

1. He didn't go to school to acquire academic knowledge.

2. He was not involved in any business to gain entrepreneurship knowledge - he was only a farmer with 150 cows that never increased.

3. He never travelled to anywhere to expose himself to the outside world.

4. He never socialised. He restricted himself to his old military friends in Daura and Kaduna.

5. He never wrote any book.

6. In terms of news, he was only listening to BBC Hausa Service.

7. Most importantly, he did not attend Council of State meetings except in 2015 when postponement of election was going to be discussed.

8. During electioneering campaign:
a. He called his Running Mate
OSUNBADE instead of OSINBAJO

b. He said IBO State instead of IMO State

c. He called INEC Independent Nigerian Electoral Commission instead of Independent National Electoral Commission

d. He called his own party All Progressives Confidence instead of All Progressives Congress

Yet, you voted for him and made him president.

Even when all these were brought to your attention, you simply responded by chanting SAI BABA and SAI BUHARI.

Now that the whole country is upside down, with killings, sufferings and loss of millions of jobs everywhere, shame will still not let you admit that you acted foolishly by voting a FAILURE called Buhari as President.

So you expected a man who FAILED when he had absolute powers as a Military ruler to succeed in a democracy abi?

Una mumu never do!!

Yes it is a project initiated by the Late Yar'Adua in 2007 as the sitting governor but hasn't made much progress since then hence your recollection from 2014 matching pictures taken on January 1, 2018.

LRNZH thank God for people like you that have refused to be infected and afflicted by the Zombietic virus.

Keep giving it back to them. May God deliver some people from Zombietic-Dullardeen (ZD) syndrome.
Cheers!!

Who advised them to build wind power station? We don't have the required wind speed in Nigeria. The best we can muster is about 4km/he winds which is too slow to generate anything useful. SMH...
