Great car, drives OK, handles great but becomes flexible at speeds greater than 130km/h.

Change ATF every 1 or 1 and half years

Check ball joint every 6months and change maximum every 2years utilizing original

Use 5w30 engine oil, 0w20 is too thin and 20w50 will cause oil leakage in engine seals.

Parts are not cheap but the shocks are way better and solid than Toyota.

Use the recommended power steering fluid, once you use palmoil, you need a bank to fix it.

Don't turn a blind eye to the brakes too, using low quality pads and rubbish fluid mixed with kazeem can be a disaster.

16inch rim is the lowest you should use to avoid underneath scraping.

Watch out. For. The remote keys and fix when faulty, this car experience some electrical madness but can be fixed by a qualified techie
1. Car door auto lock even when ignition is on
2. Driver side window auto wind down
3. Car refuse to start when gear at P, so move lever to N and start
4. Radio screen blurs overtime.

Honda hates wrong fluids. If you abide by that rule. You'd be fine

The car probably has an aftermarket security installed. The 7th gen (2003 - 2007) accord does not have auto lock feature, the only auto lock i noticed is if you unlock the doors with the romote & you don't open any door within maybe 30 secs it will relock but with the key in the ignition the relock won't work.

It's an electrical problem the car experience with the stock remote.

If you open car start engine and try to open boot or bonnet and mistakenly close door, it will ajtolock it self nah oyo you dey if you no get extra key

Honda hates wrong everything including drivers, put one wrong driver on that seat and see how fast the spoil button can be depressed!

Quite on the contrary, had same issue with an 07 Accord until the the driver side door actuator was replaced.

Here's the tip, try see if you can wind down your windows using the remote by doing the double tap unlock. If not, replace the actuator.

Whine in Honda is not an oil issue but its the pump sucking air either from low PS fluid, punctured suction pipe, bad suction oil ring and lastly bad pump.
