This is the same problem with GEJ; shifting the blame of boko haram instead of dealing with it.

Who cares who their grand patron is? Who cares who they supported in 2015? As long as President Buhari is CIC, it is his job to stop them so get to work and stop the diversions.

Are they actually Herdsmen or rebranded Boko Haram, because we have heard that there are factions in Boko.

The one that is still killing and the one negotiating and releasing our Chibok girls. So we need to know which one has assumed the herdsmen status. Their style of invasion is akin to Boko in every way

A Fulani socio-cultural group known as Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore has revealed that it would mobilise 23 million voters for President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 general elections.

This was made known on Monday in Abuja by the national leadership of the association led by the chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello Bodejo and secretary, Saleh Alhassan Kubah.

Leadership reports that Bodejo claimed that 23 million registered voters belonging to the association have decided to support Mr. President because of his Agricultural Transformation Agenda.

Bodejo further explained that both the ethnic Fulanis and pastoralists have been able to mobilise more than 23 million voters for Jonathan, adding that they have an efficient means of mobilising their kinsmen whom they directed to register in all the places they live and have done so. He said these are the votes they promise President Jonathan in the 2015 general election.

The chairman, who listed the prominent Fulani pastoralists serving in the Jonathan administration to include the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Adamu Mu’azu; the private secretary to the president, Alhaji Umar Tukur; political adviser to the president, Prof. Ahmed Alkali and the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Alhaji Balla Mohammed, distance themselves from involvement in Boko Haram activities. He said they were elated as well as support the agreement reached between government and the sect.

Speaking on the effects of the ongoing Boko Haram insurgency and the continued conflicts between farmers and herdsmen in the country, Bodejo called on government and other relevant stakeholders to immediately wade in and end the violence in the northern region.

Speaking also, Engr. Kubah debunked reports of suspected Fulani herdsmen involving in sectarian crises, especially in Nasarawa and other northern states.

“The crises you spoke about are multi-faceted and stems from the struggle for power in the states. Former IGP, Mohammed Abubakar instituted a high-powered committee comprising of DIGs to unravel the root causes of the crises and they had since submitted their report. The Fulani pastoralists were exonorated but unfortunately were caught up in the political crises,” he said.

Engr. Kubah further explained that the Egon people, unleashed the Ombatse Cult against the Fulanis and others, but following JTF’s intervention, the crises was quickly stemmed. He said what they have left in Nasarawa state is cattle rustlers and miscreants parading themselves as Fulani pastoralists.

He condemned the fact that they (Fulanis) were being victimised and targeted for unnecessary profiling and criminality which he claimed security reports have exempted them from.

It would be recalled that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday, September 18, decided on a sole candidate for 2015 presidential elections, and it is Incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan.

Also a group known as the New Dawn Nigeria (NDN) promised the highest number of votes to President Goodluck Jonathan from the South-West in the 2015 presidential electionselections

what has GEJ got to do again with this fulani herdsmen issue. You guys are just looking for any means to justify the incompetence of this administration. As you joke with the tragedy of these people just to justify the incompetence of your pay masters, may the blood of these innocent people haunt you and anybody trying to just these evil activities. May their blood cryout and fight against you for coming up with this nonsense post trying to taunt their predicament

True.
It might interest you to know, that some people are aware of this reality. They just like playing the ethnic and religion card to feed their evil minds(spirit) with more blood from innocent Nigerians.

But those of us with conscience will never allow them to distroy the future of this great country.

The problems with Nigerians are bunch of educated illiterates who can't separate facts from fiction
and reality from myths. I always wonder why some people will defend evil simply because their man
is in power. The reality on ground is that killer herdsmen are killing indiscriminately and nothing is
being done about it. A sane response will be to condemn the attack and put pressure on the government.
But we have are people scraping old newspaper for evidence of who Miyeti Allah supports or oppose, to them
they have silent all discussions by showing that an organization once promised a certain candidate a phantom vote.
Talking about short memory, I did not remember any candidate getting 23 million votes in 2015.

What do u want as a citizen? Ask urself Tht question! Maybe then youths like u, govt officials like femi Adesina, nyesom wike etc will stop blaming evil for evil.

By now you should know that some people in this forum only care about the image of PMB and not necessarily about the survival of the country and her people. This is why they show no empathy to all that is happening. As long as PMB's image is protected, their own people can even die sef but then this is acute stupidity and that is why you don't need to respond to some people here else you see yourself being dragged into their stupidity.

At the end of the day one thing is sure, if man made justice fails, natural justice will never fail no matter how long it takes.

the GEJ was nurturing the herdsmen with weapons so as to get 23million votes! and when he lost, they became a helpless demon!

the same GEJ said he knows the sponsors of the boko haram in his govt..but refused to mention their names..until he lost 5-states

to boko haram out of 36-states...the same GEJ told the whole world that stealing and looting the nations treasury is not corruption!..

all these torry na shame! shame!! to...leaders who plunged Nigeria to pauper... because of hunger to stay put in power!...

and refused to do the needful at the right time..

What is wrong with miyetti Allah cattle breeders group, a responsible group supporting a candidate in an election. I don't want to believe some people are trying again to shift herdsmen onslaughts to gej as a blame. A government that is about to face another election still thriving on blames is most unfortunate. Gej should have blamed boko haram on the late, frail yaradua and obasanjo. Its funny you know.

Means we should all stop politicizing this stuff

We should all be constructive about it and deal with it
what is this one saying? So we shouldn't politicize the issue when the commander in chief decided to do nothing while over a 1000 lives were lost to fulani herdsmen in 2017 alone and another 70 lives lost in January of 2018? To show how aloof he has been on the issue,he didn't even mention it in his new year address to the nation nor has he had a state of the nation address thereafter,no single statement had been credited to the president condemning the killings rather we get to only hear releases from his spokesmen days later after the mayhem and massive public outcry. To underscore how disinterested your president has been concerning the killings,he didn't deem it fit to send the army to dispel the fulani militia rather sent the police who are ill equipped to confront thousands of ak-47 wielding militants whose location has been established until the governor of benue visited him at the villa? This is a president that prides himself as being slow and mediocre in the way he has handled things in over two years in that seat,if politicizing the issue will make him wake up to his primary responsibility of protecting lives and property,so be it. He wasn't elected to fight only corruption and bokoharam or wasting our scarce resources on his countless travels abroad where he was the most part of 2017 while governance suffered but to tackle the serious business of governance which includes finding solutions to Nigeria's problems and leaving the country better than he met it and not otherwise!
