Despite President Muhammed Buhari’s correctional move over his overdue silence on herdsmen attacks and killings in Benue State, where several lives were claimed, Nigerians and political groups have continue faulting pronouncements by governors, described as campaign for re-election of the president, while indiscriminating killings were on toll across the Nigeria.

However, among governors who were pointed accused fingers of toying with lives of Nigerians, was Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, whom former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, supporting group, Turaki Vanguard, alleged of downplaying mayhem been recorded across the country, particularly that of Benue, for Buhari’s 2019 ambition.

The group stated that, at a period when the nation was in needs of solution to end killings in Benue and that of other part of the country including Kaduna, states’ governors were busy planning on, and campaigning for, re-election of the president who was yet to address ships of issues sinking the country.
