Lazy government. They will never work hard for it's citizens only after individual who made it clearly from working so hard despite the harsh business environment impose by our good for nothing leaders.. Best is to settle the matter in a gentleman style now the court has ruled in his favor..

Hope he's able to renegotiate a better deal with them anyway while dumping his bro's arss for a competent world cclass Mgt team.

I could recall Ben Bruce had some brief run-in's with them but he's back running his bid now albeit, under govt supervision and loan recovery regime. After all, that money is the taxpayer's sweat and shouldn't be shared playfully by the big boys, as was done with impunity in the years past!

People need to be objective although I'm still waiting to see a full public report on what actually befell the National Economic Recovery Fund (NERFUND) Project, of which unscrupulous, deliberately nonpaying defaulters mostly of Northern extraction were rumored to have crashed, as per internal grapevine gists!

All the never-do-wells shouting " low standard, poor levels, dinghy hotel" should please start by showing us their housepix first!

The thing is that AMCON cannot prove that Kanu is indebted. That should easy as the bank that he owes should co-operate with AMCON ordinarily.
As a result there is a court order on AMCON to desist. But they are not obeying court order.

I totally agree the rooms color themes are horrible. The decors are amateurish.

I won't call it a shyte hole hotel, though. That building is worth 10 digits. If I were to acquire that place, first thing is to redo the paintings and change some of the furnishings.

If there is a court order, kanu should take them to court and hire a competent lawyer, a SAN like ozhekome who knows how to deal with senseless govt bodies like EFCC, AMCON and others.

If it was in his father's tribal land, amcon can still take it over. It's not about the physical location. Amcon has jurisdiction all over Nigeria.

It's about the inability of the bank to prove he ia indebted to them, and amcons alleged bias in the take over...
