I find it hard to grab the rationale behind the increase of the lekki-ajah toll fees..
in so much doubt if this really is for 2019 election preparation all state house members from eti-osa should also remember we have more than a pvc...
we have a PVC/RedCard to poor consultation and governance...

ALL THE SOUP INGREDIENTS WERE PAID FOR BY THE ELECTORATE, SO THEY HAVE TO PAY AGAIN TO EAT FROM THE SOUP?

1. There are alternate routes to serve everybody's need if they don't feel like paying tolls.

2. These infrastructures are taxpayers investments generating needed IGR to serve the same taxpayers from more roads and bridges to hospitals schools, clinics, security, government programs and services.

3. They also manage and maintain these infrastructures with proceeds from tolling, hence the wonderful shape these infrastructures are in today.

Years after entering service, the Lekki-Ikoyin bridge is still shiny and looking good with proper management and maintenance

Anambra village bridge started crumbling and falling apart after just 1 year in service, even though bridges are built to last for 30 years.

Lekki Ikoyi bridge was not only well built, they are maintaining it per world-class standard, hence the reason why it's still shinning like new?

Lagos state is not a village like anambra where they build rubbish and cannot maintain anything beyond bricklayers doing patch patch

Funny how these Igbos are not concerned about the death trap and abomination bridge in their village, but they are dying over world class bridge in Lagos.. grin grin

One thing about Igbos, they care less if their own leaders saddle them and kill them with death trap infrastructures or even if they did not build anything with the taxes, allocations, and debts they collect on their behalf, but they are doubly concerned about Lagos and other places in the SW as if SW governors are responsible for their existence and backward villages..

You think it is everybody that can articulate their thoughts like adult?
For someone to use soup analogy to butress a point on recurrent maintenance of road, it shows you something about that person.
