Darker than shadow
your shining light
My gnashed teeth
your joys heighten
Your entrance detracts
Loosing whole soul
Feelings left me
Tears found me

Your sour taste
Your acrid air
Your blind sight
Your still limbs

My melted sun
My disappearing sky
Fills my emptiness
O sordid Death!

A terrifying name
Mournful and sorrowful identity
Propounded by God
Masterminded by the enemy

His hands are always cold and his feet so
quick to grab the old
For the young they fight and doggedly say
No
But he is so cruel that he stretches his
claws to take them home

His fears nothing, loves no one and has no
regard for anyone
His teeth is sharp like a razor
His eyes red like palm oil
He makes wives widows
Husbands become widowers
Children become orphans

A twist in the direction for their lives
No hope for their dreams
No sympathy for their frailty
Never satisfied with what he takes
Always looking for more

Bodies left immovable
Unshakable like statues
Lifeless because he stole their souls
He ripped them bare
Oh they quivered with fear
They now answer late
Undertakers rejoice
Cash in their bank accounts

Loss to society
Posters of obituary
On their way to the cemetery
Who must this be
Oh! definitely Death!!!
