what is Lassa Fever? Lassa Fever is an acute, viral, Hemorrhaging illness.
#Transmission:
Direct contact with infected person.
Contact with the food contaminated by Rats �.
Contact with infected person fluid.
#Symptoms :
Fever, fatigue, vomiting, abdominal pain and etc.
in severe cases, Bleeding from mouth, nose, vagina and gastrointestinal tracts.
#Diagnosis :
malaria, typhoid fever, streptococcus, bacterial sepsis, meningitis and anicteric hepatitis, leptospirosis.
#Treatment
Antiviral drug Ribavirin vaccines in form of capsules.
Which is very Expensive to common man.

What shall we do?

Prevention! say no to Rats.
Safe storage of foods, washing of hands and fruits.
Keep your house clean and keep Cats and dogs around your house. Do not eat Rats and report any suspect to the nearest hospital for quick treatment.
Avoid contact with others when you have a symptom of fever.
Pass out the message to others friends and family.

Conclusion : Lassa Fever is deadly, infectious and endemic diseases In Nigeria that is easily preventable and control if work together.
