DrGbaks Very nice interview. I admire your enthusiasm.
However, Hulk is no pitbull, its not even the best representation of the breed, totally negates all that the breed standard states, from weight difference, to producing blue dogs, to conformation, to performance. So I wonder what the yardstick to rating him was.
You claim you never mixed but your Rottweiler has erect ears? A breeder's guide is the breed standards, and he's expected to follow through rather than giving us one hit wonders, forgetting that these dogs he's chosen for breeding will have effect (good/bad) on the breed for years to come.

DrGbaks, this has nothing to do with you. Your zeal is admirable honestly, but next time, let's do conscious breeders, Nigerians inclusive.

I choose to focus instead on the many other lessons to be gleaned from Marlon's life story.

The word pitbull is now a misnomer, that represents the bullies, staffies, bullypits, and also dangerous sport cars and bikes so long as they can hurt/maul Someone.
I only chose to point it out as the media as done the breed no good, and when these dogs that are paraded as pitbulls go ahead to cause damages, it is attributed to the Pitbull, and then BSL is fueled.
Our people gotta know the real deal, else they'll start looking for hulk-like pitbulls- more damage to the breed.
