Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) have announces a reduction in charges for NIP (NIBSS Instant Payment) on their customers. The bank in a text message sent to their customers said “Dear Customers, we have reduced the charges on NIP transfers. this means that, you now pay N40 only when you transfer money to other Banks via *737#” the bank announces. The Nigeria Interbank Settlement System Instant Payment (NIP) is an electronic funds transfer. They are irrevocable funds transfer instruction. You must have a bank account to be able to use NEFT or NIP to transfer funds.
