IJMB PROGRAMME
About IJMB
IJMB which stands for interim joint matriculation board is an advanced level program moderated by the Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria in collaboration with most federal universities in Nigeria that enables admission seekers with an opportunity to gain admission to their choice university without jamb. This program was designed to bring to a reduction of the amount of students seeking university admission every year instead of jamb. The major advantage that IJMB has it helps the student enter 200 levels instead of 100 levels.



ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for 200 level admissions, applicants must possess the following

Successful O’ level result, not more than two sitting with credit pass in all relevant subjects
Minimum of 7 points in the IJMB program out of 16 points except medicine and law which is 12 points.
Each candidate much register for the IJMB program, attend lectures, sit for the examination. Upon completion of the exam, the applicant would apply to the University of their Choice through the DIRECT ENTRY MODE.



DURATION OF THE PROGRAMME

This advanced level program is really flexible, but it is run for a period of 2 semesters. The examination is held once a year every February.
