Most Christians don't know what the name means...

I have really try to know how this name originated and its clear that if he ever existed, that wasnt the name he was referred to Because such name doesn't exist in Hebrew...

This name still doesn't mean anything in Latin and Greek as this languages were the innovators of the early comtemporary churches

Some school of thought believe that the name jeusu means "le sous" in Greek, which means 'hail Zeus", this claim is quite justifiable as the spelling of Jesus in Greek and Latin is 'lesous" and "lesus" respectively.


Are we hailing Zeus or is there any other meaning to the name?
