I have always wondered if this is a proverb or a maxim and what it actually means, Ejighi igbo agwa ya onye ocha |
Re: Igbos come show your proverbs skills by echelon(m): 4:19pm On May 01, 2009 |
Uche2nna: More of a maxim; a slang. Hope you know the meaning though. |
Re: Igbos come show your proverbs skills by Uche2nna(m): 4:21pm On May 01, 2009 |
echelon: I know the meaning , ie the literal meaning, but there has to be something that this is trying to convey cos the literal meaning makes no sense. |
Re: Igbos come show your proverbs skills by echelon(m): 4:30pm On May 01, 2009 |
"Ejighi Igbo agwa ya onye ocha" Means that you expect someone you are dealing with to understand you/ your desires without much explanation |
