How to become a professional and government certified cosmetologist

Register for NABTEB professional cosmetology training at Onus Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Institute (OVETI). NABTEB - (NATIONAL BUSINESS AND TECHNICAL EXAMINATION BOARD) is the Federal Government assessment and certification Authority in Nigeria for operatives, craftsmen and technicians. NABTEB Cosmetology certification is divided into two modules: (1) Manicure, Pedicure and Facial treatment (Makeup artistry) (2) Hair Styling and Scalp treatment.

How to go about it:

- Pick up an application form at Onus Vocational & Entrepreneurship Training Institute, Ibadan.
- Register for the practical training either in Manicure, Pedicure and Makeup Artistry or Hair Styling and Scalp treatment or both
- Take the 100% practical training in Cosmetology from 3 to 6 months from qualified instructors.
- Get certified
- Start your own business or get a job in any of the specialized field in Cosmetologist
