JAMB 2018 Malpractice Codes – Reasons Your Result May Not Be Released The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released codes for examination malpractice and their interpretations as well as examination prohibited items. Your JAMB Result may not be released if you break any of these malpractice codes. JAMB 2018 Exam Slip Printing Begins – See Steps To Get Yours We have confirmed that JAMB has started sending emails containing main exam slip to 2018 UTME candidates. The exam slip will show you the date, venue and time for your exam. All candidates who registered for 2018 UTME using their correct and valid email addresses are advised to check their email addresses to print their exam slips. Please note that not the exam slips are being sent in batches. If you have not yet received a mail from JAMB, do not panic, be calm and keep checking your email address for the mail. Ensure you check both Inbox and SPAM/JUNK folders. How To Print JAMB exam slip from your email Login To your email address (the one you provided during UTME Registration). Check your inbox and SPAM folder for an email from JAMB. Once you have confirmed that the mail contains your exam, slip, proceed to any Cyber Cafe to print it out. We advise you print it out in coloured. What To Do If You Have Not Received Yours If you have not received your email address, do not panic. Be calm. According to him, the reason there will be delay in release of results is to review the activities of the candidates and to minimize the number of cancellations. The JAMB boss mentioned that last year the board proved a point that there is nothing extra ordinary in releasing results immediately. However, some results were later cancelled when the board found out what happened in some centres through the CCTV Cameras. So if we have to take two or three days to look at the conduct of the candidates before releasing the 2018 result so as to minimize cancellation, then we will do so.” He said Mr. Oloyede said no computer-based centre is allowed to collect any cash from the candidates for the main exam adding that the board will release the agreed sum of N600 per candidate due to the centres to them. The registrar urged candidates to adhere strictly to the date and time allocated to them for examination. He said any candidate who fails to turn up on schedule for his or her examination automatically misses the examination. The examination is scheduled to begin on Friday, March 9, to March 17, 2018. |

JAMB reveals date for 2018 Post-UTME The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed dates for the 2018 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) tests. The JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede disclosed this at the Policy Meeting held at Gbongan, Osun State. In attendance were all vice chancellors of universities, rectors of polytechnics and provosts of colleges of education. At the meeting, Oloyede said, “The leaders of the institutions agreed that the First Choice Admission Exercise would be conducted from July 2, 2018 to October 16, 2018; while the Second Choice Admission Exercise would be conducted from October 17, 2018, to December 17, 2018.” DAILY POST reported that not less than 414,696 candidates out of the 1,603,181, who sat for the 2018 UTME, scored above 200. According to Oloyode, 558,673 candidates scored above 190; 739,490 above 180 and 956,937 above 170 marks. He said the scores released by JAMB were not the cut-off marks, adding that they were the minimum marks required. Meanwhile, the Federal Government has warned that it would sanction any tertiary institution which charges more than N2,000 for Post-UTME. |

UI Post-UTME Result 2018: VC Speaks on Candidates' Performance, Top Scorers & Admission List Following the release of the Post-UTME result of the University of Ibadan, the Vice Chancellor of the University, has given a breakdown of candidates' performance in the 2018 Post-UTME screening exercise in a statement made available to the press. It was gathered that a total of 17,956 candidates sat for the screening. Out of these, 11,730, representing 65.3% of the total number of candidates scored 50% and above. UI Post-UTME Result 2018: VC Speaks on Candidates' Performance, Top Scorers & Admission List According to the VC only candidates who scored 50% and above are eligible for consideration for admission. A candidate identified as Anyanwu Favour Chinazaekpere came tops with a score of 90% and is seeking admission into Communication and Language Arts.
