Bros definitely u need to see ENT surgeon(ear,nose and throat surgeon).U wont see them anyhow.Go to FMC or Teaching hospital.U will meet them.They are doctors that specialise in ear,nose and throat problems.Other doctors u have seen so far are not ENT surgeons.Do u understand?

What about gonorrhea, syphillis, hpv, herpes and chlaymadia tests, hiv is not the only std you know.

Also who told you that you should go for sugar tests and hiv tests when you dont know the problem.

Better rush to the nearest hospital and get an x-ray of your throat, also go to another doctor and demand he looks into your throat (i mean he looks into it to see if its in good condition), dont assume its anything and dont take any drugs from any doctor until they tell you whats wrong or you will die of either side effects or over dosage one day.

Also look back into 8 months ago and ask yourself what happened? maybe you swallowed a bone and it got stuck. (an xray will help).. also apart from the sharp pain are you noticing any other symptoms?

You are visiting the wrong doctors. Go and look for an E.N.T (Ear, Nose & Throat) Doctor/Specialist. They are a bit more expensive to see than your regular GP doctors but i am sure they will help. They might put a scope down your throat. Also if you are found of sleeping under AC,reduce it. Do you have reflux or gastritis?

I have been having temporary sharp needle pain inside the left side of my throat and a dry throat every morning that does not go away for the pass 8months,I have visited 3 different hospital and I've done several test like sugar test ,RBT and my sugar level is ok, I even did 7 HIV test which d last one was carried out dis month and all were negative.The first hospital's doctor gave me antibiotic drugs for 5days after the test which I took but no sign of relief. I went back to him and he said I should repeat d drugs which i did bt still dsame,i went to another hospital and i was as well tested and said am okay nd gave me drug. still d feelings didnt go away i went back nd e said mayb is my anxiety and e priscibed another drugs bt d pain and dry throat keep disturbing me.

This has really affected my social life,feeling really depress dont knw what to do.pls help me if U heard of someone that went through similar problem or a doctor here

PS: Whenever I swallow something I do not feel the pains, its occasional and mostly in the morning

Boil and drink a cup of got water mixed with salt every morning and night before going to bed. Also, what kind of antibiotics did you take? Have you tried Doxycyline 200mg!

OP TAKE ME SERIOUS. This may be hypochondriasis. Get vitamin B complex. Take it for two weeks. Don't thank me but after the two weeks. YOU CAN SEND ME PRIVATE MESSAGE IF YOU LIKE

Go to an E and T specialist. BTW your problem might be psychosomatic. Too many HIV tests taken shows you're a hypochondriac.

Could be a sign of throat cancer. Please eat raw ginger everyday. i can assure you, you will get some relief. I hope you don't have any unusual growth in your throat.

I hope you have not contracted throat cancer. Please guys do not give girls cunninlingus especially naija girls because the end result will not be funny at all. BE WARNED!!

clean ur windows and your fans of dirt. its caused by dirts from ceiling fan and open windows, so keep ur windows clean as well as ur environment.

You certainly suffering from allergy. Take note of you habit, you will realized that the pain is worse after certain activities or ingestion

pray you don't have thyroid or oral cancer normally caused by hpv . it could easily be sore throat. try natural things like lemon in hot water or cinnamon in hot water. I pray for the best.

When it happened to me tho, it was caused by dryness in my environment, so I started eating cucumber and putting 2 bowls of water in my room to increase humidity. Change your sleeping position and take the lemon, honey and cinnamon. hope for the best.

That's the only thing that gets my throat dry and itchy in the morning of the next day especially if I don't take enough water before going to bed the previous night.

You should also stop taking antbiotics since you're certified OK by doctors. Antibiotics is not some medications you take without having need for it.

It is called E.N.T (Ears, Nose and Throat) and not E and T.
