Several cyclists took to the streets of Sao Paulo in a nude protest against reckless driving in the city and to urge authorities to do more to protect them. Thousands of cyclists are killed in road accidents every year in Brazil, with data from the country's ministry of health revealing that 8,496 cyclists were killed between 2010 and 2015. Protesters covered themselves in slogans and held signs that read messages such as 'Vulgar is your lack of respect', 'Obscene Traffic', 'Out with the Cars', and 'Your hurry costs a life'. They seemed in high spirits during the emotional demonstration.
