Nawa o. The difference is merely in the fingers and not the arms. Some forces use two fingers, while some use all but the arms don't open that widely as displayed by this policewoman.

No force salutes the way this woman did. It shows that she didn't get much training.

Buying promotion from Okiro at 5 millions. The duo of Idris and Okiro are the worst set of IGP and Chairman Police Service commission in Nigeria history.

Nothing exceptional did she do except posting pictures on instagram. The most annoying thing is that she even purchase the promotion for her husband as well.

The issue is not about the differences in hand usages but in the positioning of the elbow which makes the salute look amateurish.

It is not about the palm but the positioning of the elbow. It is positioned too far back and doesn't align with her other shoulder. Check the salute of her superior and you would see the difference.

My bet is that she opened up so much so that we can see her face well. Her body seemed tilted a little toward the camera so I am guessing that she saluted that way (very amateurish way) so as not to shield her face from the camera.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with her salute. She did it the right way, the picture you posted isn't what obtains in the Nig Police and Paramilitary.
