Many people are accustomed to saying:

What are your hobbies? In everyday English

This is indeed a correct English expression.

However, native speakers almost never use 'hobbies' when asking about activities that you enjoy doing in your free time.

This is because native English speakers don't use expression that are too direct.

A much more natural way to ask the same question without using 'hobby' are the following:

What do you do for fun? or What do you do in your free time?

You could reply to the question by saying:

'I like to play football' or 'I really like playing football'
