The Post
Digital Contents Manager/ Executive Assistant

Our company is an information management company with a vision to revolutionise access to health information across Africa through our MyMedicalBank suite of applications.

The Candidate
We are in need of a full time Executive Assistant/ Digital Executive Assistant to support the company’s drive for the establishment of a successful enterprise.

Job Summary
1. Achieve increased traffic across all MyMedicalBank (MMB) sites and social media platforms.
2. Promote and maintain MMB’s visibility on the internet and a positive brand in the public consciousness.
3. Coordinate the company’s offline activities in Nigeria.
4. Act as the company’s principal contact in Nigeria.
5. Create regular reports and update internal databases.

Location
Ikeja, Lagos with occasional demands for remote working.

Salary
Negotiable depending on experience.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
A. Daily
1. Post contents on MMB social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
2. Research and compile engaging contents from external sources and from MMB’s content writers.
3. Optimise content according to SEO and in compliance with copyright and data protection laws.
4. Manage incoming and outgoing communications both online and offline including emails, phone calls, text and letters.
5. Maintain daily contact with the CEO.
6. Coordinate diary for the CEO, the company and the management team.

B. Weekly
7. Publish at least one post each on MMB’s sites - Live Well,Blog and Facts & Figures.
8. Analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics on all MMB sites and social media platforms
9. Develop and manage an editorial calendar for MMB’s content team
10. Coordinate all MMB meetings both online and offline - including scheduling, sending reminders, preparing, taking minutes and implementing actions.
11. Produce weekly report to the CEO – covering analytics and tasks undertaken, planned or outstanding.
12. Coordinate implementation of tasks assigned to the company’s personnel.

C. General
13. Create, review, edit and improve documents including articles written by MMB’s writers to ensure brand consistency.
14. Engage with MMB’s site visitors to encourage habitual visits to the site and responding promptly to their comments and queries.
15. Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention.
16. Act as an administrator for all MMB sites and social media platforms - setting up accounts, resetting password, flagging up issues and responding to issues raised.
17. Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets.
18. Maintain online and offline storage and filing systems.
19. Facilitate internal communication (e.g. distribute information and schedule presentations and reports).
20. Act as the point of contact between CEO and the company’s personnel and between the company and the public.
21. Plan travel arrangements, appointments and events.
22. Update the CEO about events in the health sector within and outside Nigeria that may be of benefit to the company.
23. Perform other duties that may be assigned by the CEO.


Person Specifications
1. Passion for health issues and knowledge of sources of contents for health publications.
2. Organisational and time management skills in diary management, independent/ remote working, workload management and multitasking with little or no supervision.
3. Excellent oral, written and presentation communications skills.
4. Adept and creativity in the use of social media and business collaboration tools including Dropbox, WeShare, WhatsApp, Skype, Google drive, Twitter, Facebook etc.
5. Knowledge of SEO, web traffic metrics trends in digital communications and relevant laws.
6. Ability to turn gain insights from data and analytics.
7. Professional report writing capabilities.
8. Experience of productive user engagement on digital platforms.
9. Experience of organising business meetings, events and appointments.
11. Hands on experience with
MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and WordPress.
12. Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing.
13. HND or BSc degree in Information Systems, Mass Communications, Journalism, Marketing or any cognate experience.
