ABSU Lecturer Petitions International Criminal Court Over Herdsmen Killings And Boko Haram Action

Dr. Hagler Okorie, is an African scholar from Faculty of Law Abia State University. He has Ph.D in Law of Armed Conflict (otherwise known as International Humanitarian Law). He consults for some International and Donor Agencies working in armed conflict zones across Africa. He is the author of about 50 articles and books on Law of Armed Conflict especially on the conflict in the Northeast Nigeria and the Lake Chad Basin.
Currently, according, to Dr. Hagler Okorie he said he has has petitioned the International Criminal Court(ICC) at The Hague to indict the Presidency and other mentioned top military hierarchy over War Crime Offences, Genocide and Crimes Against Humanity committed in the Northeast by Nigerian Forces and Book Haram sect. Again, he has called on ICC to open investigation on the Fulani Herdsmen massacre in Enugu, Benue, Taraba, kogi etc. He accused the Presidency of complicity for failure to urgently act in defense and protection of the innocent and defenceless

Good, people should rise up and fight for their right to life. This government will not do anything due to tribalism inbuilt in the president except a higher force forces it to act.
Imagine the number of people killed by Fulani herdsmen and some evil men who pretend to be patriotic are still supporting and campaigning for them.
One thing is sure, Benue State in 2015 campaigned and voted for this murderer, today they are bleeding.
Those who are eager to vote him in 2019 will bleed later after he must have won.
