If only the victims did some research before parting ways with their monies, all of these will not happen.
Anybody selling you this business is a thief. Always do your own research and trade for yourself. It's not that hard

A Bitcoin company in Calabar has disappeared into thin air with millions of Naira of customer’s money. As early as 8am yesterday, customers besieged the company’s office on Bassey Duke only to discover that the company had closed shop and vanished with their money.

Several phone calls were made by the customers but no response from the company officials that started operations about two months ago, collecting money from customers and giving them a whooping 30 per cent extra after seven days online trading.

As at yesterday, over 1000 people who were expecting their monies, broke into the offices and carted away any item they could lay their hands on as little compensation for their investment.
The entire premises of the company that occupied few rooms in the Bassey Duke shopping mall was taken over by frustrated customers and one of them who gave his name as Ifeanyi said, “This is things fall apart. I put in over N2.5million and now everything is gone.”
Another customer, who cried profusely, claiming he put in N5 million said, “I saw people collecting 30 per cent interest after one week that is why I also put in money. A huge part of the money I put in was even borrowed”.
Some National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members also invested and one of them said she put in N1.5 million and it was all her money in the world.
Another corper who put in N150, 000, said, “That money was all the money I saved in this my service year. This is painful, I thought I could do ‘business’ and help myself and my poor family”
It was gathered that thousands of people invested in the scheme, as someone told The Guardian, “The crowd you are seeing today are just a few that have come to get their money. They made millions and disappeared with our money. I don’t know why we would never learn. MMM and the likes that promises quick profit have duped us in the past, yet we keep falling for them, including me. I put in N500, 000 into this one and now see my money has gone down the drain.”
The situation caused an atmosphere of pandemonium and some soldiers who arrived in the afternoon fired several shots in the air to disperse the people but they kept coming.

Nigerians will never learn.

It is not a matter of learning. Even you can fall a victim. People are hungry man, the victim of these fraud needs Capital to start a legitimate business. If the government was not rotten those companies are meant to be registered or open shops. The f*ck about them is that they have Determining Safety Integrity Levels (SIL).

The best trader in Bitcoin today can hardly make 1% a day from the crypto volatility, it cause for urgent and great caution not to lose your money...Bitcoin is an open source that can be verify by anyone on the blockchain. People always do last what they should do first, that is consult those who know more about cryptocurrency investment before giving away their hard earned money.

I wish I could pull up my reply in a Crypto thread here a few months ago. Everything I said would happen has been happening: disappearing brokers, regulations, indictments, etc. Like the naysayers during MMM era, people will be "burned" by Crypto. Nice concept but humans will always be human.

With bitcoin under $8k, some investors that bought into the hype above $18k are in deep mess already. It makes sense for a broker to want to disappear with the remaining funds.
Unregulated market is frausters' paradise. In other words, when you lose money, there is no agency to run/complain to. Oh well...

Some people were sold the idea of anonymity. Well...that can only last so long. Every government of the world needs the taxes. It is a matter of time before they get involved. The government will always win. One coordinated regulation is enough to kill the hype. Crypto investors just learned that this year. No government wants to lose power over the people in all circumstances.

I don't pity any of them at all. They are just bunch of lazy people. Which business do you invest in then u go n sleep and after one week you will be paid 30%. Lazy people that don't want to work on their investments. It serves them right.
These same people if you tell them to come and invest in a real n genuine MLM company, they will tell you I don't know how to convince people. I don't know how to bring people. I don't have anyone to bring. They will rather prefer ponzi scheme to authentic network marketing. Laziness.
Me am enjoying my network marketing business n have no single course to be worried over my investment cos am growing it myself not someone somewhere promising to pay me just like that.
