-they remotely resemble mordern ones. they were made for the same purpose - to protect the eyes from sun. they were also used during winter.

- a slipper like stone shoe that was found in a cave in armenia. it is 5,500 years old.
currently , in the 21'st century , we have shoes like timberland.
i wonder how the slay queens of that time coped with these shoes grin

5,500 years ago , this shoe was preserved with sheep's faeces. it belonged to a woman.
