Wike is right! The FG through the military bodies as the army, navi and nsdc are burning illegal refineries and boats that carry crude oil. This causes air pollution in Rivers state as well as the oil spilage into the sea that affects the livelihood of those living in such communities.

The buhari led Federal government is indeed a culprit to reducing the lives of rivers people as they gave the military bodies such orders. There are videos on YouTube that show the military shooting at boats and burning illegal refineries.

Burning these refineries causes the black smoke to go into the air creating the sooth then shooting at boats from choppers cause the oil to spill into the water ways as well as black smoke in the air from the explosion and destruction.

The rivers state government must hereby through it's state assembly make destroying of illegal bunkery an offence and that off the boats as well.

The federal government should convert the illegal refineries to Modula refineries and the boats sized then the crude be handed over to nnpc.

Everyone needs to embark on a protest against this horrible black soot.

The consequences of this dangerous soot is not immediate. It might take years to manifest. This is dangerous to health.

No governor ever said Jonathan was using BH to reduce northern votes. There should be a difference between what an official like a state governor says and what a common tout says.

A governor of a state comes out to indict the FG without any verifiable fact. With all the resources available at his disposal, instead of locating the source and then point accusing fingers to whomever, he his playing politics with the lives of the citizens. You believe his every word hook line and sinker but you doubt a new policy that has been going on for some time and not because of the Rivers issue.

It's so so sad when they play politics with the lives of innocent rivers people...am totally disappointed. The issue of sooth in rivers,especially in old port harcourt township calls for quick intervention. I can boldly say that the sooth fall like snow these days,especially in the morning..my bath room is regularly rinsed each time i use the bathroom as a result of black pathches from the sooth. Our nostries always black when cleaned with white cloth..health wise,we only look up to God...we all know where a large chunk of the sooth comes from,illegal oil exploratory activities..the chasers have jumped ship and embraced the drillers for a coin..afterall man must wak at the detriment of thousands of citizens who have no hand in these deals..politics is such an urgly vulture feeding on the remains of citizens.IT IS WELL

Must you play politics with every situation. You are the governor, you need to look for solution on how to reduce the soot. You can't be collecting allocations and security votes and you still want to rely on federal government to do everything for you.
The solution lies with the Federal govt, cause if he attempts to do it on his own it would be confrontational...alot of high ranking navy and military personnel are the ones sponsoring the kpo fire. It has turned a lucrative business.
