A heavy protest occurred today in Rivers state over the Black soot air pollution problem plaguing the state.

The protest was organized by the Rivers Civil Society Organization. The group called for an immediate solution to the pollution crisis.

It will be recalled that earlier this week, Governor of Rivers state, accused the Federal government of being responsible for the problem. He alleged that the Federal government was deliberately using the soot to reduce the population of Rivers state people.

He also ordered the attorney general of the state to sue the Federal Government and International Oil Companies, IOCs, operating in the state over the soot.

Hmmm.. The way Nigeria is structured, there must be a problem that cannot be easily solved before people begin to think.. Nobody thinks about the future implications of decisions made

I didnt know about this protest i would have joined. What we need is a solution.

They need to do something about pollution in Nigeria. Wike is getting paid for the pollution but instead of using the money for the people, he is using it to give life to his dead party.

Yes, abandoned monorail project that gulped about 41billion naira by the then administration of the governor of rivers state, now minister for transportation.

A man that couldn't complete a three kilometer monorail for almost eight years as a governor is now minister for transportation.

Porthacourt Christian residents can pray and end the soot because the bible is filled with promises of Jesus saying you'll get whatever you ask for in his name. let's check those verses

And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it. (John 14:13-14)

and again

(Matthew 17:20 For truly, I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.) then whatever you ask for in prayer will be granted, there are obviously only a few options available.

Seriously something has to be done about the soot. Was in PH November last year, woke up every day with black feet, bath tub too always black, put a finger in your nose, black particles comes out with it. It's crazy that the government is yet to respond . Do they even respond to anything that is not in ghana must-go

if you talk now, the president will go somewhere and tell the whole world that you are lazy and that you are waiting for oyel money.
