WHY NIGERIAN YOUTHS ARE NOT LAZY

Having critically examined the recent unfortunate diatribe credited to the president of the most populous black nation, Nigeria. A diatribe so unfortunate that his media aids were thrown into state of discombobulation, and couldn't compose articulated missive to conjure damage control. The diatribe is a monumental national disgrace of epic proportions.

It beats the imagination of our national elites, and well wishers, on why the president made such dismissive and flagrant statement during a summit of Commonwealth leaders, instead of wooing investors to tap into the untapped potentials of our robust and intelligent populace (youths).

Nigerian youths are not lazy. Many are captains of industries, successful entrepreneurs, academics, leaders of thoughts, among others. We have highly skilled and educated youths who are successful drivers of their professions.

I have brothers, sisters, and friends who have successfully weathered through the extremely challenging hyperinflation in Nigeria to become successful men and women, and leaders in their chosen endeavors and professions. Many are successfully pulling through their degree studies and research, business niche, etc. with little or no assistance from the government.

A typical Nigerian youth is ambitious, hardworking, educated, diligent, and always ready to lead and deliver in all his endeavors. Nigerian youths are not lazy. There are too many untapped potentials in a typical Nigerian youth.

Mr. President, Nigerian youths are not lazy.

God bless the youths!
