HE IS 33 NOW WITH NO UNIVERSITY DEGREE,BUT STILL ASPIRES TO STUDY LAW FOR THE LOVE OF THE DISCIPLINE.

ALTHOUGH HE DOES NOT NECESSARILY WANT TO PRACTICE LAW,HE LOVES WRITING WITH AN UNQUENCHABLE

PASSION AND IS OBSESSED WITH THE AMBITION OF BECOMING A GREAT WRITER IN THE NEAREST FUTURE.

I IMPLORE YOU NAIRALAND INTELLECTUALS TO GIVE THIS MAN THE BEST PIECES OF ADVICE AND ENLIGHTEMENT

Age is just a number. There's no age in Education. Its not how far you go in life that matters but allow. You are not old to get a university education. Follow your dreams and achieve your destiny!

@ nicefella,

At 33 you are NOT too old. But you need to consider a few things. Are you married? Have kids? Responsibilities? Need to earn money? Full-time or part-time?. I was also a mature student though not quite as old then.

It is a big challenge. Not academic but social if you have other responsibilities. I graduated with a better degree class than most younger colleagues despite having to work and earn money. That does not mean that you are more clever but more focused because you know time is not on your side. Also having done  a few things in your life like work/business/being a landlord/husband/fiance etc, you may be able to manage both time and money better. If you are married, make sure your wife supports you before going ahead. Otherwise it can become very lonely along the way.

In fact  I still study now because I enjoy it.  However, I am in Europe and I do not know exactly how it compares.

Nigeria is a developing country ,we need other professions, why dont you think of doing some professional exams in some professions that will add value to Nigeria, there are so many lawyers already without jobs who help criminals to invade arrest or prosecution.Cant do you see that the country is so corrupt with so many corrupt people who have lawyers at their back. Its my advise .The foreigners are coming to Nigeria and taking up jobs we could do in our oil and gas industry in our telcoms and IT.pls create wealth, add value, innovate, strategise .

Yes all of u are right, but the fact is: do u think if he decide to go and study law as an undergraduate student at the age of 33, do u think the embassy will grant him a visa? because i think embassy do consider age to study and course.

@ topic

if you have the capability, means and wherewithal, its not too late to study any profession you want to, including medicine.

even IT specialists have been known to go back to school and study medicine after years working in IT.

old ke? The best graduating student at uniuyo got admitted at age 30 and graduated at 34.
Forget all those "i am too old mentality"
come to my school here and see 40 year olds vying for degrees.
When once you are admitted especially in federal universities you will see those older than you and you sef your morale would be boosted

Thanks for your words bro. They are really inspiring. It's just that Nigerian educational system is frustrating me. I have been struggling to get admission into different universities since 2009, never failed Jamb, yet they've always denied me admissions.
